Scythe Plugin License Agreement (EULA)

1. Grant of License

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Scythe Plugin for your own Unreal Engine 5 projects. You may use it for both personal and commercial purposes, but you may not share, distribute, sublicense, or resell this plugin in any form.

2. No Source Code Provided

The Scythe Plugin is distributed on Patreon only as pre-compiled binaries.

Source code is not included under this license, but will be provided when Scythe is officially released on Fab.

3. Patreon Membership & Access

Access to the latest build of the plugin is provided only while you have an active Patreon subscription at the required tier. If your Patreon subscription ends, you will lose access to future updates and are not entitled to continue using newer builds. You may keep and use any builds you downloaded while subscribed, subject to the restrictions in this agreement.

4. Restrictions

You may not distribute, share, or resell the plugin, whether for free or for profit. You may not claim ownership of, repackage, or rebrand the plugin.

5. No Ownership Rights on Fab or Other Platforms

Subscribing on Patreon does not grant you ownership rights on other platforms such as Fab. This license is not a transfer of ownership, and you do not gain any rights to list, sell, or redistribute the plugin on Fab, Unreal Marketplace, or any other platform.

6. Not Production Ready

This plugin is provided as-is and is not guaranteed to be stable or suitable for production use. It may contain bugs, unfinished features, and may change over time. Use it at your own risk.

7. Disclaimer of Warranty & Limitation of Liability

The plugin is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The developer makes no guarantees about compatibility, stability, or fitness for any particular purpose. In no event shall the developer (Shambler Studio, LLC) be liable for any loss of data, project corruption, damages, or other issues resulting from the use of this plugin. You are solely responsible for making backups of your work.

8. Sponsor/Team License

If you are subscribed to the "Sponsor" tier on Patreon, you are permitted to share the Scythe Plugin build with members of your team or studio. While unauthorized sharing is discouraged, this tier provides a legitimate way to support development if you have the means. All other restrictions in this agreement still apply, including prohibitions on redistribution, resale, and sublicensing outside of your team.
